maybe it's my quiet mood, maybe it's because I'm longing for warmer weather, but I feel like I need new pretty things on the wall. so I just bought three prints from  abby try again . I have been coveting her work for oh so long, but I could never decide which ones I wanted. In fact although I chose one of these three here, I had trouble deciding which ones I wanted to show you. so go, look .  and she's packing up and moving to texas so she is having a clearance sale going on until may 9. how could I possibly resist? can you? {all photos abby try again  also here  and her lovely blog here }

so, I'm sick again. again? yes, again. sick enough that I am having conversations with myself on my blog. that is, when I have the... not energy, but sitting-in-front-of-computer-itiveness to look at my blog. for thirty seconds. the real reason I am here babbling now is that I have an alumnae (I went to a womens college) event on sunday and it occured to me that I really do need a calling card. a personal calling card. but. how do I get calling cards by sunday? dilemma yet to be solved. my friend tells me that I should design my own, which, yes, I could, but did I mention that I'm sick again? and sapped of energy, creative or otherwise? yes. so. anyways, I was looking at a bunch of super lovely calling cards on etsy which brings me to showing you how cute and inexpensive a personal calling card can be (until you hit the letterpress and then it's all over). and this just in a few moments on the etsy. if you have any suggestions for the most gorgeous of fabulous calling card...

i am so in love with this little belt from heart of light . wouldn't it look lovely on pretty much any dress? today i am wrecked. i sat in front of a computer at work all day and then came home to not sit in front of the computer again but where am i? yes, in front of the computer. so i feel hunched over and my eyes are tired and... i think i'm going to go read a book now. i have those.

last year I bought two pairs of earrings from pretty as a posie , one for a present, one for me, (top pic) I just couldn't help myself. so for christmas, I bought another friend the gorgeous little purple dagger pendant you see here and couldn't help but purchase the earrings at the bottom. And in the end we did nothing for little extras - in fact we didn't do some things we wish we had but that's another story. I would have done these if I had thought of them. They'd be easy to do your self or, of course, you can order them from the lovely and talented kat's krafts on etsy . do I need to spout my love for etsy again? I think I do.

I just saw these on first comes love and I so had to have them. I think this is the blue color that I will integrate with the fire orange dahlias. i apologize for not posting in the last few days. my head is rumbling and tumbling with ideas, none of which i can fully pull into view. i have been super busy at work dealing with people who don't listen or read instructions. and having spent all day long in front of a computer typing to those who don't listen, i stopped wanting to type to anyone. and there are people in my life that i need to attend to. i have neglected my friends from far away and owe a few of them some graduation congratulations. and i owe much thanks and love to some of you, my fellow bloggers. you have been so kind. so this is my promise: i will be more attentive and express my love to those who I have neglected.
