do something that scares you

Lately, I've been drinking out of this water bottle that a friend of mine abandoned at my house ages ago. It's a lululemon bottle and it has all of these motivational sayings on it, like: sweat once a day, life is full of setbacks, friends are more important than money, etc. And then there is the one that says:

Do one thing a day that scares you.

Does anyone know how to do that?
Does anyone have any flying instructions?

I think I need to spend more time on woodennickel.


  1. I really like this idea, because I really stay away from things that scare me. I could get down with "do something once a WEEK that scares you", maybe...

  2. does planning a wedding count?

    because that kinda scares me. :)

  3. i think my life is full of too many things that scare me. i swear residency is giving me crazy high blood pressure.

  4. I like this challenge, but I think I have to consciously tell myself to do it throughout the day.
