my first giveaway!!!

Have you registered yet? Or did you get everything on your registry? The whole registry thing was weird for us because we have a pretty well stocked home, and it's hard to shop with the idea that someday I might need this. Because we weren't convinced that we wanted things from only three places, we did our registry shopping online figuring it's easier to shop in our pajamas. But, it's easy to get distracted while shopping online. One second you're arguing over which bedding to choose and two clicks later and you find yourself looking at kids beds which starts a whole other conversation. Um, yeah.

One thing we didn't register for was Le Creuset cookware. Of course I have drooled over it for my entire cooking life, but asking for expensive gifts seems so weird. So when we received a Le Creuset 9" square baking dish as a wedding gift, I was delighted. Since our wedding, I have made so many casseroles and desserts in that dish that it has become one of the indispensables of my kitchen (mmm, apple crisp). I have that bright orange color in the kitchen above and it's one of those bright and cheerful pieces that I don't mind leaving on the counter. Once you go Le Creuset, you never go back. So I thought, why not share.
