I dedicate this dance to Jes from a.mountain.bride. you're right, it just hits you. suddenly you know what your first dance should be. while I kind of wish we had practiced dancing to it, because it's a slowish, longish song deserving of a little physical snark, we apparently didn't do too bad a job. G even dipped me!

but just like everything else, I don't think that the first dance has to be the quintessential statement of who you are as a couple. just choose a song that you think is fun or sweet or romantic or that you just want to dance to.
